okay okay... first before i start bashing away at this movie, lets first put aside that i am a very huge DragonBall Z fanboy, okay so i will reviewing this movie into a couple of categories....
as a moviegoer -
this movie was pretty short, not alot into detail about certain topics, they seem to be pushing through to get to certain scenes, this is DEFINATELY a kids movie, obviously from the PG rating, but the story was pretty corney but interesting, they could of done way more with this, special effects weren't the greatest but definately a little different from the normal. all in all as a moviegoer i would rate this a 3.5 out of 5, given that its a kids movie and what not....
now as a FANBOY -
this movie was horrible, i mean i know this isnt DragonBall Z, its DragonBall, okay i got that and i know its called Evolution so its there adaptation on the original story... but Goku isnt a kid, there is no Krillin, Master Roshi has no turtle or even a beard and lives on an island, okay thats small stuff now on to the actually story they crapped on and managed to clip it together into a movie... im warning all of you who havent seen it, this is a SPOILER!!!
for some reason Oozaru is like fuckin Lord Piccolo's pet or something, and that Oozaru was sent to the planet when Piccolo got there and that the NAMEKs are like destroyers of planets.... okay fuck tarts i know that in the anime Namekians were peaceful people and that KAMI (WHY THE FUCK ISNT HE BEING MENTIONED IN THE FILM) is Earth's Gaurdian. GOKU magically learns the Kamehameha after only being told from Master Roshi, and him getting a Fucking Hard on for Chi-Chi does he finally start mastering the elements, idk about you but i didnt know the Kamehameha was a fire based attack, i thought it was raw engery... anyways Piccolo never got to wish to be younger or even lay an egg before getting defeated at the end, which was a very short fight i mean i would of sneezed i would have missed the whole thing..... this movie was total crap on a stick served to me by a mentally disabled monkey with a catarac in one eye....
thank you 20th Centry Fox for crapping on my beloved youth.....
what next your gonna make a fuckin Pokemon live action where Ash is a crack addict and that Pokemon were actually his dreams.... wait on second thought thats not a bad idea.... dibbs on the copyright....
